We are looking for a Agentic AI Engineer with a strong technical foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Agentic AI and AI cloud-native architectures. This strategic role is based in Barcelona and focuses on designing and scaling Agentic AI platforms for enterprise clients across industries such as retail, logistics, telecom, banking, and manufacturing.

Your mission will be to transform complex operational challenges into scalable, production-ready Agentic AI platforms. You will guide solutions from prototype to production, define API-first and multitenant architectures, and establish platform patterns that accelerate adoption across large organizations.

This is a hybrid role based in Barcelona, combining remote work with in-office collaboration to foster synergies with your team. Candidates must reside in Spain and have legal work authorization.

Main Tasks:

• Design and deliver enterprise-ready Agentic AI platforms for critical operations.

• Architect API-first, multitenant platforms with robust security, observability, and developer experience.

• Map complex enterprise processes into agent-based architectures using agentic AI concepts.

• Collaborate with engineering, MLOps, data, cloud, and security teams to ensure scalable and compliant solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Implement Agentic AI core platform components: retrieval layers, memory systems, agent behavior models, guardrails, and cost optimization mechanisms.

• Define architecture patterns, SLAs, KPIs, and technical success metrics for Agentic AI platforms.

• Engage with stakeholders across transformation, operations, data, and technology to align technical architecture with business needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or platform roles involving Artificial Intelligent systems

• Minimum 2 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or platform roles involving Generative AI systems, including foundational models

• Minimum 1 year of experience in architecture, engineering, or platform roles involving Agentic AI systems, including platforms (Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock AgentCore, etc), and/or frameworks (LangGraph, LlamaIndex, ADK, CrewAI, AutoGen, Strands, etc.), and/or communication protocols (MCP, A2A).

• Proven experience delivering solutions from prototype to production.

• Strong foundation in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD, observability, and developer tools.

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.

• Fluent in English.
