Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for four MRTT Maintenance Technicians (B1 and B2) to join our MRO Network Team localised in La Muñoza and/or Torrejón.

As part of a multidisciplinary maintenance team, you will contribute directly to ensuring the operational readiness and airworthiness of our MRTT fleet, performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with Airbus quality, cost, and on-time delivery standards.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary maintenance team to perform assigned scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, ensuring aircraft are returned to service safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Accurately document all maintenance activities in the relevant records and systems.

• For the B1 position, carry out advance and complex structure repairs according to technical instructions. For the B2 position, ability to independently perform complex troubleshooting within avionics and electrical systems.

• Actively participate in daily work management and coordination meetings, applying Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment, with variable workloads and changing priorities.

• Take part in training activities to maintain required qualifications and promote continuous professional development.

• Contribute to improvement initiatives within the area, proactively proposing ideas and supporting implementation.

• Ensure strict adherence to Airbus safety culture and company safety procedures at all times.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Education: Higher Vocational Qualification in Aeronautical Maintenance (TMA) or equivalent.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in aircraft maintenance or team leadership, ideally within an MRTT environment.

• For the B1, knowledge and ability to perform structural repairs will be a mandatory requirement.

• Licences:

  • Mandatory: Valid EASA B1 or B2 licence for A330 aircraft.

  • Highly desirable: MRTT B1 or B2 qualification.

• Languages:

  • English: Independent user (minimum B2 level).

  • Spanish: Professional / negotiation level (minimum C1 level).

  • French: Considered an asset.

• Understanding of Lean maintenance principles and continuous improvement practices.

• Good organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
