Job Description:
A vacancy for "Performance, Improvement and Economy manager" (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence in Air Power, Transport & Logistics (T&L).
Within the Procurement organization inside Airbus Defence and Space, the successful applicant will join "T&L Contracts, Performance & Digital" team.
The job holder will be part of a transversal environment in which you will be the focal point and responsible for leading and managing T&L Performance, Improvement & Economy activities and projects to boost T&L Excellence.
The job holder will be responsible to:
Define and implement the necessary improvement activities, best practices and transversal projects in T&L
To improve overall performance and driving it towards excellence through an efficient management of T&L operational teams and main stakeholders
Provide KPI and reports related to performance
Define and drumbeat the OP exercise
Being the focal point for any economic related subject between controlling and operation (T&L team).
You will be also the connection between controlling department and the different T&L operational teams
Acting as the deputy of the HO Contracts, Performance and Digital
Main Task and Responsibilities will include:
Accountable for the T&L Performance KPIs deployment and analytics. Overall performance management and performance visibility and reporting. Definition of KPI's and business and process indicators in alignment with ADS and TOP requirements to ensure visibility and satisfy the Programme Lines and operational needs.
Ensure coordination of T&L Risks and Opportunities and major issues, root cause analysis, proper management in ARM.
Manage a subcontracted work-package for T&L reporting.
People management, participating in the Competence project, to boost values and trust based ways of working with a team with the appropriate skills and competences
Foster prevention through Process and Performance KPIs and analytics of T&L anticipating issues and risks and working in a collaborative way with stakeholders.
Support local T&L teams for Performance improvements.
T&L CAPEX follow up.
Contribute to T&L transformation plan to boost Excellence.
T&L Ways of working standardization and management with Performance & economic Business indicators.
Promote improvement mindset in order to drive T&L maturity and performance towards excellence.
T&L responsible for any questions related to finance; lead the OP and PRE-OP exercise internally, compile and communicate the outcome.
Ensure adherence to T&L processes and support and boost standardization.
OES focal point for T&L and closely linked to OES communities.
Support Company improvement projects like Step Up or OneBridge.
Deputize the HO Contracts, Performance and Digital when needed
Support and lead Digital projects
Skills
Master degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics or industrial context
Project/Program Management Experience in a multi-national context
Excellent communication skills
Programming skills (scripts / macros)
Successful track record of leading improvements projects
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a multi-national context
Strong analytical, problem solving, planning skills & knowledge of business models
Proactivity, self-motivation, customer focused
Fluent in English
German (optional)
Experience in Defence & Space or any similar industrial product development sector
Agile experience in one of the following framework: Lean, Scrum
Experience in collaborative tools to support agile ways of working: JIRA, Confluence
