Mission
The SAP Order-to-Cash Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring the effective management, optimization, and continuous improvement of business processes related to sales, logistics, and demand planning within the O2C scope.
Acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, this role oversees functional design, project delivery, system governance, and end-to-end solution lifecycle management for SAP O2C-related functionalities.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Service Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for business stakeholders within the O2C domain.
- Oversee IT service performance for projects, enhancements, and incidents.
- Support business teams in prioritizing requirements and driving process improvement initiatives.
- Identify and propose functional and technological enhancements.
Project & Delivery Management
- Lead and manage O2C-related projects from inception to deployment.
- Perform estimations (cost, resources, timelines) and maintain project plans.
- Monitor project execution, manage risks/issues, and ensure compliance with IT quality standards and methodologies.
- Coordinate with internal and external development teams.
Functional Analysis & Solution Design
- Conduct requirements gathering, gap analysis, and functional specifications.
- Work closely with BPOs and Key Users to validate business needs and deliver solutions.
- Oversee configuration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and deployment activities.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and continuous optimization of O2C processes.
System Governance & Documentation
- Define and maintain the functional and technological roadmap for the O2C area.
- Guarantee that all processes and solutions are properly documented.
- Act as System Owner for applications and components under the O2C domain.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, IT policies, and data governance requirements.
Specific Knowledge & Skills
Functional Expertise
- Sales order management and processing
- Availability check and delivery scheduling
- Billing processes
- Accounts receivable / payment processes
- Pricing and commercial conditions
- Customer master data management
- Integration with external platforms (CRM, B2B portals, Edicom)
Technical Expertise
- Strong functional knowledge of: SAP SD (core requirement), SAP MM, SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with Jira for project and ticket management
- Knowledge of integration technologies: IDocs, APIs, middleware
Experience
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in SAP environments, specifically within the O2C domain.
- Proven track record in managing SAP-related projects (enhancements, rollouts, or implementations).
- Experience collaborating with business process owners, key users, and technical teams.
- Background in system integrations (CRM, B2B, EDI solutions) is strongly preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- SAP certifications (SD, S/4HANA) are desirable but not mandatory.
- Project management training or certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Agile) is a plus.
Languages
- English: Full professional proficiency (required)
- Additional languages are a plus.
