Job Title: Associate - Data Scientist

Grade : C2

Shift: 2 pm to 11 pm IST

Role: Individual contributor role.

Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore.

Introduction to role:
Are you ready to dive into the world of commercial analytics and make a real impact? As a Data Scientist, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to tackle business challenges head-on using data-driven solutions. Your mission will be to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and machine learning models, leveraging diverse healthcare datasets to uncover actionable insights and optimize business processes.

Accountabilities:

  • Quantitativebachelor'sdegree from an accredited college or university isrequiredin one of the following or related fields: Engineering,Data Science,Statistics, Applied Math,Computer Science,Operations Research, Management Science, Economics.

  • Good communicationand business interaction

  • Goodyears of recent experience andproficiencywithSQL, Python,PySpark, Snowflake

  • Good working knowledgeindata visualizationtools (Qlik andPowerBI)

  • Experience in MS Office products-AdvancedExcel and PowerPoint skillsrequired.

  • Good knowledge in IQVIA or Komodo Sentinel datasets and understanding towards pharma/healthcare landscape (along with primary and secondary data sets is a benefit)

  • Proficiencyin manipulating and extracting insights from large longitudinal data sources, such as Claims, EMR and other patient level data sets.

  • Good in analytical thinkingand a data aggregator

  • Expertisein managing and analyzing a range of large, secondary transactional databases isrequired.

  • Should have Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving ability.Shouldbe able to grasp new conceptsquickly.

  • Ability to derive,summarizeand communicate insights fromanalyses.

  • Organization and time management skills

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelors' in Engineering or Technology or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Economics, with solid foundation in statistical analysis and modeling.

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in statistical and predictive modeling, ideally within consulting or fintech or related industries.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Deep experience with analytic tools and languages, such as Python, Dataiku, Databricks, Qlik, and Power BI; strong familiarity with machine learning and AI methods.

  • Proven skills in building and extracting insights from statistical models (e.g., linear regression, clustering, random forest, time series, and neural networks).

  • Hands-on experience working with EHR, administrative claims, and laboratory data (such as Prognos, IQVIA, Komodo, or Symphony claims data).

  • Technical knowledge of database structures, query languages, structured programming, and large dataset querying using ANSI SQL; experience with relational databases.

  • Role is primarily office-based and requires use of a computer, communication via phone/video/messaging, problem-solving, collaboration, and general availability during standard business hours, with or without accommodations.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal skills withdemonstratedability to work collaboratively with asignificant numberof business leaders and cross-functional business partners.

  • Strong communicationand influencing skills withdemonstratedability to develop and effectively presentsuccinct, compelling reviews of independently developed analyses infused with insight and business implications/actions to be considered.

  • Strong organizational skills and time management; ability to managediverserange of simultaneous projects.

  • Domain experience in healthcare, or biopharmaceutical industries.
