The IB&F Innovation Hub is the central catalyst for operational excellence within BBVA's CIB Investment Banking and Finance division.

About the job:

We are seeking a technical innovator to join our lean Core Team in Madrid. You will work directly with the initiative lead to diagnose operational friction and transform isolated problems into global, reusable solutions for the entire IB&F area.

Key Responsibilities

Problem Diagnostics: Work directly with global teams to identify pain points and blueprint them into actionable development tracks.
Solution Implementation: Deliver technical solutions and "quick wins" focused on reducing user friction and mechanizing routine tasks.
AI Enablement: Standardize and scale AI knowledge by maintaining proprietary GPTs, Gems, and a centralized Prompt Catalog.
Global Synergy: Collaborate with a network of Ambassadors across Business Units and Geographies to ensure two-way information flow.
Dynamic Prioritization: Participate in regular workshops to pool pain points and align on development priorities.

Requirements

Business Knowledge

At least 5 years of experience in similar roles.
Sector Expertise: Basic knowledge of Financing Products, the Syndication Business, and/or Financial Advisory.
Scope: Understanding of the lifecycle of Loans, Syndicated Loans, and Project Finance for large corporate clients.
Communication: Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory to lead initiatives with multinational and multicultural teams.

Technical Competencies Candidates are expected to possess strong proficiency in at least two of the following areas:

Advanced Google Workspace: Automation through Google Apps Script (Sheets, Docs, etc.) or utilizing NotebookLM and Gemini.
Data Science & Scripting: Solution development using Python, specifically within Google Colab.
Full-Stack Development: Building and deploying web applications using React/Angular and Node.js on Google App Engine.
Generative AI: Designing and managing advanced AI tools such as Custom GPTs or Gems.
