Quantitative Analyst internship

As an intern in a Quantitative Analyst (Sales) role, you will help transform trading data into actionable insights that support strategic conversations with clients. You will contribute to client analytics and the creation of impactful sales materials and presentations, helping showcase the value of SIX products and services to market participants. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply the concepts learned throughout your studies to real-world challenges and gain first-hand exposure to the fast-paced world of financial markets.

What You Will Do
- Create and enhance client-facing presentations by combining trading data, market insights, and compelling visualisations into clear and impactful sales narratives.
- Monitor and analyse client activity, distil complex data into clear takeaways, and communicate insights to the wider organisation.
- Maintain and further develop existing analytics codebases used to analyse client trading activity, generate insights, and support data-driven client engagement.
- Gain hands-on experience with diverse trading datasets and a state-of-the-art cloud platform, applying modern analytics and AI tools to solve real-world business challenges.
What You Bring
- You are currently pursuing a Master's degree in a quantitative discipline and have a strong interest in financial markets, trading, and data analytics.
- Academic experience applying Python for data analysis, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn. Exposure to SQL and large-scale data processing frameworks such as PySpark is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish
