Requisitos

Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree in a relevant scientific, business, economics, or healthcare field preferred. At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or consulting industry, including experience in pricing and market access. Experience leading global product launches, with familiarity in major markets such as the United States, Japan, Europe, or China. Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and manage complex cross‑functional interactions. Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, apply technical knowledge, and use tools and methodologies related to pricing, market access, and health economics. Strong customer focus with the ability to align pricing and access strategies with broader brand objectives. Demonstrated ability to think creatively, challenge existing approaches, and drive continuous improvement. Experience leading or contributing to cross‑functional teams, ideally within relevant therapeutic areas. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with additional language skills considered an advantage. Eligibility Requirements:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).

Description

The Global Strategic Pricing Lead is a senior access leader with deep expertise in strategic pricing and a strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics. The role optimizes brand value and profitability by developing high‑quality pricing and access strategies in close partnership with Brand Access Leads and Commercial Pipeline Teams. The Global Strategic Pricing Lead ensures that external market changes are incorporated into brand strategies and that pricing and access approaches are integrated, consistent, and aligned across the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partners with access teams to challenge assumptions, provide strategic guidance, and ensure consistent integration of expertise across the brand life cycle.
  • Maintains a broad view of the market access landscape and monitors policy changes and external events that influence pricing and access strategies.
  • Leads pricing and payer research, including selecting vendors, defining project scope, shaping key questions, establishing assumptions, and ensuring high‑quality outputs.
  • Supports long‑range planning by aligning inputs for modeling, reviewing analytical outputs, and translating findings into actionable insights.
  • Aligns list and net price assumptions for launch planning, forecasting, and in‑line product strategies.
  • Develops tools and resources that support innovative contracting and value‑based agreement approaches across therapeutic areas.
  • Contributes to payer value materials, objection responses, and early access resources that support launch readiness.
  • Identifies strategies to maximize brand value and guide price evolution when products approach loss of exclusivity.
  • Evaluates competitor pricing strategies, anticipates potential market impact, and recommends actions to protect brand value.
  • Develops tendering strategies by applying lessons learned across brands and therapeutic areas.
  • Creates and manages global pricing policy frameworks, including tools and approval processes, and supports their adoption across teams.
  • Co‑develops brand‑specific pricing policies that reflect strategic objectives and best practices across markets.
  • Maintains and updates pricing policies after launch and supports local teams in applying changes.
  • Helps markets strengthen pricing negotiation strategies and facilitates negotiation workshops.
  • Prepares or supports development of business cases for price exception requests and guides teams through the approval pathway.
  • Produces reports that track pricing and access performance and synthesizes key insights from pricing, access, and health technology assessments.
  • Builds and maintains capability materials that describe pricing and access tools, processes, and support offerings.
  • Develops training and knowledge resources on launch readiness, loss of exclusivity, contracting, indication expansion, and tendering.
  • Maintains knowledge on pricing structures, reimbursement systems, and Gross‑to‑Net dynamics across key markets.
  • Supports development of pricing, access, and assessment data systems and enhances visualization, reporting, and analytical tools.
  • Promotes continuous improvement by strengthening processes, sharing best practices, and supporting evolution of pricing and access capabilities.

Compensation

This position offers a base salary typically between $250,000 and $394,000.  The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus and or other compensation elements.  For an overview of our benefits please .
