Job Summary

The Operational Analyst will be a critical member of the Operations team, responsible for ensuring the operational integrity and resilience of the company's payment services across EEA, UK and US regions. The role requires meticulous attention to detail in planning, designing processes, executing controls,Nmaintaining accurate records to meet strict regulatory and compliance requirements and ensuring continuous improvements are actively implemented through build and run activities.. The role will be working across capabilities such as but not limited to Change Control, Customer Oversight, Operational Resilience, Outsourcing and Supplier Management

Responsibility

Supplier Management
● Planning: Assist in the ongoing risk assessment and due diligence planning for critical third-party suppliers, ensuring they meet the company's operational and regulatory standards.
● Execution of Controls: Manage and execute the performance monitoring framework for key suppliers, including regular reviews of service level agreements (SLAs), operational metrics, and compliance adherence.
● Accurate Record Retention: Maintain a central, complete, and accurate repository of all supplier contracts, performance reports, quality assurance reviews, audit findings, and risk documentation, ensuring immediate retrievability for regulatory inspection.


Change Management
● Planning: Participate in the planning and scoping of operational and system changes, ensuring all potential risks to operational resilience and customer impact are identified and documented upfront.
● Execution of Controls: Execute the Change Control Process by ensuring all changes are thoroughly tested, approved by relevant stakeholders (e.g., Compliance, Security), and rolled out according to the documented plan.
● Accurate Record Retention: Ensure the complete accuracy of all change artifacts, including business requirements, test evidence, approvals, post-implementation reviews, and back-out plans, maintaining a comprehensive audit trail for every change.

Customer & Operational Resilience
● Planning: Contribute to the development and periodic review of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, and Operational Resilience Frameworks, focusing on payment service criticality.
● Incident Management: Coordination of incidents including on call support where necessary, maintenance and upkeep of all incident logs, performing lessons learned and implementing continuous improvements to the process.
● Execution of Controls: Execute regular resilience testing (e.g., BCP/DR drills) to validate recovery capabilities and ensure control effectiveness in scenarios like system failures or cyber incidents. Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) related to operational downtime and service availability.
● Accurate Record Retention: Maintain precise records of all resilience testing results, identified gaps, remediation plans, and regulatory submissions related to operational resilience, ensuring all documentation is current and verifiable.
Controls & Reporting
● Develop operational scheduling of activities promoting a disciplined operational rhythm that supports operating activities that are planned and executed in line with agreed standards and timelines.
● Developing and maintaining appropriate MI, reporting systems and contributing to data collection, monitoring, quality, and performing trend analysis for all Operational capabilities.

Years of Relevant Job Knowledge

Broad job knowledge (3-5 years)

Knowledge: Technical & Regulatory Understanding
● Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM): Comprehensive understanding of supplier due diligence, risk assessment methodologies, and the regulatory standards governing critical vendor relationships.
● Operational Resilience Frameworks: Knowledge of Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, and the specific resilience requirements for payment service criticality.
● Change Management Principles: Understanding of the Software Development ITIL frameworks, specifically regarding risk identification, stakeholder approval workflows, and back-out planning.
● Regulatory Compliance & Audit Standards: Familiarity with the documentation requirements and record retention standards necessary for successful regulatory inspections and internal/external audits.


Skills: Execution & Operational Excellence

Supplier Performance Monitoring: Proficient in managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs),
tracking operational metrics, and conducting compliance reviews to ensure vendor accountability.
● Control Execution & Validation: Skilled in performing rigorous testing of operational controls, including BCP/DR drills and system change testing, to validate recovery and stability capabilities.
● Data Analysis & Reporting: Expertise in developing Management Information (MI) systems, performing trend analysis on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and presenting data-driven insights to leadership.
● Incident Coordination: Experienced in managing the end-to-end incident lifecycle,

including on-call support, log maintenance, and facilitating "lessons learned" sessions for continuous process improvement.
● Administrative Precision: Advanced ability to maintain centralized, "audit-ready" repositories
for contracts, change artifacts, and risk documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
