**this is a hybrid (4 days in office) position based out of our Etobicoke location - occasional travel required to Kitchener and Burlington**

About the position

As a member of the Canadian Operations Management team, you will contribute to strategy and implement continuous improvement in service delivery and a high-performing culture. This position is responsible for managing and leading the Brokerage Operations Specialist team - a team responsible for supporting business growth by partnering with our Advisors to deliver on our clients' projects flawlessly. The incumbent will oversee capacity management, relationship management, performance, communication and deployment coordination.

In this role, you will..

  • Build and lead high performing, capable teams comprised of professionals responsible for executing our clients' projects in partnership with Colliers Advisors

  • Provide coaching and feedback to direct reports, addressing training and performance shortfalls effectively.

  • Ensure administrative services are compliant with requirements of local real estate boards, councils, and FINTRAC.

  • Partner with marketing to improve collaboration and create marketing campaigns at a high minimum standard

  • Develop positive, collaborative relationships with Managing Directors and Advisors to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and service level agreement

  • Oversee recruitment, retention, and employee engagement efforts for your BOS team

  • Develop and community execution plans with various levels of management regarding resources, to balance quality, performance and cost.

What you bring

  • 3-5 years experience in a team leadership or management role

  • Commercial real estate experience highly preferred

  • Ability to clearly communicate in high-pressure situations, managing difficult conversations while maintaining strong relationships

  • Experience with setting expectations and tracking performance from a people perspective

  • Understands the interdependency issues of a large company

  • Advanced Excel, Word, and Powerpoint skills, with InDesign being a strong asset

Approximate Salary Range for this Role: $89,371 - $120,000 per year

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
