At Grifols, we are looking for a Director of People Experience to lead and elevate employee experience across the organization. This role will be responsible for Internal Communications & Employee Engagement, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (D&I), and the People-related sustainability agenda, playing a key role in strengthening culture, engagement and alignment with our corporate values and strategy.
This is a strategic and highly transversal position, working closely with HR leadership, HR Centers of Excellence and Corporate Communication.
The purpose is to design, lead and implement People Experience initiatives that enhance employee engagement, foster an inclusive culture and ensure a consistent, meaningful experience throughout the employee lifecycle, while supporting the company's sustainability commitments in the people dimension.
What your responsibilities will be:
1. Internal Communication (People & HR)
Lead the internal communication strategy for HR and People-related topics, ensuring clarity, consistency and alignment with the corporate narrative.
Manage and coordinate content across internal communication channels (e.g. intranet, internal platforms, People announcements).
Support HR functions in the communication of key processes and initiatives (performance cycles, rewards, engagement surveys, talent programs, employer branding initiatives, etc.).
Analyze and design Engagement Action Plan following the outputs of Global Employees Engagement Survey.
Provide communication support for organizational changes, reorganizations and transformation initiatives, including change management narratives and messaging.
2. Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging
Define and lead the Inclusion & Belonging strategy from a People Experience perspective with key KPIs to follow the progress.
Design and implement inclusion programs, awareness campaigns and internal initiatives that promote equity, belonging and inclusive behaviors.
Partner with HR and business stakeholders to embed D&I principles into people processes, leadership practices and employee communications.
Ensure consistency and quality of inclusive communication guidelines and resources across the organization.
3. Sustainability (People dimension)
Lead the People-related sustainability agenda, in close collaboration with HR and Sustainability teams.
Contribute to sustainability reporting and people-related indicators, ensuring accuracy, alignment and continuous improvement.
Monitor and follow up on sustainability indexes, benchmarks and KPIs related to People and Workplace practices, identifying opportunities for progress.
4. Strategy, Governance & Collaboration
Translate the company's people and culture strategy into high-impact People Experience initiatives with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
Act as a key partner for HR, Corporate Communications and other stakeholders to ensure a coherent, consistent employee experience globally, with sensitivity to local contexts.
Identify trends, insights and best practices in employee experience, internal communication, D&I and sustainability, driving continuous improvement.
Who you are
- Proven experience in internal communication, employee experience, culture or engagement roles, ideally in complex or multinational environments.
- Strong background in Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, programs and change leadership.
- Experience with HR sustainability / ESG (People pillar), including reporting, metrics or cross-functional coordination will be valuable.
- Strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)..
