About the Role
We are looking for a driven and analytical Assistant Manager - Demand Planning to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, driving data-informed decisions, and ensuring optimal balance between supply and demand to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve accurate demand forecasts using historical data and market insights
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to align demand and supply plans
Support business decision-making through data analysis, insights, and forecasting models
Monitor forecast performance and identify opportunities to enhance forecasting accuracy
Drive initiatives to minimize stockouts, reduce excess inventory, and prevent write-offs
Contribute to improving overall service levels and customer satisfaction
Support and participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields
4-5 years of experience in supply chain planning
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a demand planning role, preferably with some leadership exposure
Strong command of English; additional local language(s) is an advantage
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Basic knowledge of statistical forecasting and experience with forecasting systems/tools
Good understanding of S&OP processes, with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
