Internship in IT Digital Communication

We are seeking a highly curious and motivated trainee to support digital communication within our IT department. This role focuses on creating SharePoint pages, reporting progress in Smartsheet, publishing updates to Teams channels, and producing internal documentation that guides clients through standard processes. No prior experience required-willingness to learn and a proactive mindset are essential.

Location: Spain | Full-time (on-the-job training) | Reports to: Head of IT, Supply Chain

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain SharePoint pages to publish IT updates, how-to guides, and project milestones.

• Build clear, user-friendly pages with consistent branding, navigation, and accessibility in mind.

• Track and report project progress using Smartsheet; update status, owners, due dates, and risk indicators.

• Publish communications and updates to relevant Teams channels; coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

• Develop internal client documentation that explains how to execute common IT processes (step-by-step instructions, visuals, checklists).

• Assist in creating templates and standards for future SharePoint pages, Smartsheet reports, and documentation.

• Collaborate with IT teams to gather information, validate content, and ensure accuracy.

• Help monitor engagement metrics (views, feedback) and suggest improvements to improve clarity and usefulness.

• Maintain a knowledge base of frequently asked questions and process flows.

Qualifications and attributes

• No prior IT or communication experience required; a genuine interest in digital communication and process documentation is essential

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with a focus for clarity and accuracy

• Curious mindset, proactive, and able to learn new tools quickly

• Ability to work collaboratively across IT teams and with internal clients

• Basic computer literacy and comfort with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Smartsheet, Teams, Word, Excel)

• Organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks with supervision

Preferred (but not required)

• Exposure to SharePoint, Smartsheet, or Teams in any capacity

• Experience creating simple documentation or user guides

• Familiarity with project-tracking concepts (milestones, risks, blockers)
