International Seed Logistics & Compliance Specialist

The International Seed Management (ISM) group is part of Bioprocess Technology Solutions. ISM manages the global production, testing, documentation, and storage of master, working, and first-production seeds, as well as production cells, supporting continuous manufacturing and timely registration of Animal Health vaccines and biologics.

About the role

You will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end process of international seed shipments, including arranging local seed testing and monitoring the progress and results of samples submitted for QC analysis. The position also ensures accurate documentation and archiving of all seed-related records, such as seed reports and lineage charts, and supports the development and maintenance of work instructions and SOPs.

In addition, the role provides administrative and logistical support to various quality processes, such as verifying that seeds are stored correctly at our Animal Health sites across the Europe and Asia-Pacific regions, to help maintain compliance and ensure the integrity of the global seed management system.

Tasks and responsabilties include but are not limited to

• Ensure correct storage of Master, Working, and Production seeds across all designated sites.
• Monitor seed storage compliance at Animal Health locations in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
• Coordinate the full seed shipment process-from receipt and storage to dispatch and documentation.
• Liaise with the shipping department and couriers to guarantee smooth logistics.
• Document all international seed shipments accurately.
• Organize local seed tests and follow up on sample availability and QC results.
• Manage archiving activities and maintain accurate seed documentation.
• Create and update work instructions and SOPs related to seed management.
• Support continuous improvement efforts, including procedure updates and handling deviations and CAPAs.

Your profile

• A completed bachelor's degree (HBO) in laboratory technology, biotechnology, virology, or a related field.
• Preferably 3-5 years of experience in an industrial laboratory or a shipping/GMP environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch and English.
• A strong sense of ownership and accuracy in your work.
• A team‑oriented mindset: you enjoy collaborating and supporting colleagues where needed.
• Independence and a proactive attitude in taking on tasks and responsibilities.
