Senior Intellectual Property Engineer (m/f/d)

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Senior Intellectual Property Specialist. Your mission will be to maximize value creation for Nordex through enhancement and exploitation of IP intelligence, by taking care of competitive intelligence matters focusing on mechanical components and processes. Yoi will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

YOUR TASKS

• Knowing patent and product portfolios of main energy and wind industry players: Wind turbine manufacturers, wind farm owners and operators, component manufacturers as well as digital application developers
• Detecting early trends and reviewing them with strategists and experts to react according to NX business priorities
• Proactive participation in NX concept and technology product developments
• Preparing meaningful communication/reports for relevant stakeholders within the organization: Produc Strategy, Sales, R&D, GLF ENG, Service, IP Dpt. experts, etc.
• Preparing and leading IP Creation and Brainstorming activities
• Understanding risks and preparing risk mitigation measures accordingly

YOUR PROFILE

• M.Sc Mechanical/Industrial Eng, Architecture, Physics or similar*
• Intellectual Property/ Business Strategy/ Negotiation
• More than 7 years in R&D and innovation, technical benchmarking/market intelligence and market intelligence
• English C1, valuable German, Spanish and Chinese
• Availability to travel

*For foreign qualifications, recognition as the corresponding Spanish degree equivalency is required when applying.
