Job Description

There is an existing controller already working in another vehicle. The goal of this project is to adapt that controller so it can run correctly on a new platform. The main tasks include:

• Obtaining and validating the new vehicle parameters.

• Retuning the longitudinal and lateral control algorithms so they work properly with the new dynamics.

• Adapting the controller inputs to ensure compatibility with the new CAN communication network.

• Updating the interface to connect the controller with the VIM (Vehicle Interface Module).

This work will help ensure that the controller behaves correctly and communicates smoothly within the new vehicle environment.
