** The successful candidate will work onsite at our Phoenix station and have the ability to travel to our Dallas, TX station to provide Technician support. Travel is expected to be around 1x every 6-8 weeks or as business needs dictate. The role - your passion: You are passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems. A successful technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs.

• Love working with your hands? Enjoy diagnosing and solving problems? As a RV Technician you will work on everything that makes an RV a home on wheels-no engine work required!

• Your main task is to keep our vehicles on the road in terms of traffic safety and customer satisfaction

• You share responsibility for the technical condition of our campervans

• You independently perform minor repairs on our vehicles and pass on your knowledge to station employees so that they can carry out repairs themselves to some extent

• You actively participate in shaping your work environment, are enthusiastic about new projects, and contribute your ideas

• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements

• Have a passion for recreational vehicles and possess the solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical issues

• Knowledge in trade field (Automotive, HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) and plus

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field or equivalent work experience a plus

• Strong written/verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English to interact effectively with a global customer base.

• Must be able to lift up to 45+ pounds at times.

• Able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat/cold.

• Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/hot temperature extremes.

• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing).

• Ability to perform cleaning duties within work area as needed including the use of cleaning chemicals.

• Due to auto insurance requirements, you must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid in state drivers license.

• Availability to travel as needed to our roadsurfer North American locations or vendor events.

• Must have open availability to support business needs including weekends and holidays.

WORK CONDITIONS

• Job Type: Hourly, Full Time-Pay Range: $27.00 to $31.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Working mostly outdoors

• Ability to lift and move 45lbs+
