At SATLANTIS, we design advanced space technologies to tackle global challenges from above. Our satellites are conceived, designed, and built to deliver reliable, high-performance Earth observation data in the most demanding orbital environments.

As a Product Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability for an astrophysics mission for the European Space Agency (ESA), while also contributing to the excellence of other Satlantis developments.

What's in it for you

  • Comprehensive space quality management: You will lead product assurance processes, participate in internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with ESA and Satlantis standards.
  • Direct impact on high-level missions: You will work on real projects, reviewing risks, controlling suppliers, and managing non-conformances with autonomy and responsibility.
  • Exposure to innovative projects: You will participate in key technical reviews (TRR, IRR, PTR, NRB), influencing strategic quality decisions.
  • Professional growth in international environments: You will collaborate with geographically distributed teams, expanding your global perspective on space projects.
  • Continuous learning culture: You will immerse yourself in risk management, quality control, and non-conformance resolution, gaining highly valued skills in the space industry.

Your mission

Your mission will be to ensure that all Satlantis products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability. Every decision you make will help ESA missions and other Satlantis projects run smoothly and achieve maximum impact.

Through your leadership in product assurance and attention to detail, you will contribute to making our satellites and technologies reliable and ready to operate in extreme environments.

You will:

  • Establish and maintain Product Assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate product quality, safety, and reliability risks.
  • Coordinate supplier management and non-conformance resolution, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.

What will set you up for success

  • Experience in product assurance for space projects: 3-5 years managing quality and risks will enable you to act confidently and proactively.
  • Strong engineering or quality background: A Master's degree in Aerospace, Engineering, or Quality Assurance will give you the technical knowledge to make critical decisions.
  • Familiarity with ESA projects and ECSS standards: Understanding ESA procedures will allow you to anticipate risks and meet requirements efficiently.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail: Your problem-solving and precision will ensure every deliverable meets the highest standards.
  • Collaboration and adaptability: Working with distributed teams requires effective communication, flexibility, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent English: Fluency in English is essential for documentation and international coordination; negotiation-level Spanish is a plus.

Ready to lead quality for space missions?

If you are passionate about ensuring that satellites and space technologies perform flawlessly, you will enjoy working on high-impact projects and growing your career in an international, challenging environment.
