Sener Aerospace and Defence is currently looking for Lead Senior AOCS Engineer to join our Avionics and Flight System Division at our office in Tres Cantos (Madrid) or in Sevilla.

What you will do:

GNC/AOCS Development Lead: Requirements flowdown; GNCAOCS functional architecture, modes and control definition; HW & SW components identification and specification; equipment follow-up; simulators definition and specification; performance and technical budgets definition and maintenance.

• Lead the GNC/AOCS development of a space mission through complete life-cycle

• Lead a team of GNC/AOCS experts in the different domain.

• Requirements capture and flow-down (component level specification preparation)

• AOCS System definition and development, from preliminary trade offs and analysis up to functional breakdown and components selection and develop. Follow-up

• AOCS operation definition (coordination with customer and/or other subsystems)

• System analysis and performance/technical budgets

• Interactions/contributions to/from SW-implementation tasks and team

• Interactions/contributions to/from AIT tasks and team

• Identification of simulators, their components and related know-how (frameworks, tools, configurations, concepts, modelling, timing management...)

• Contribution to internal know-how

• Contributions to proposals

• Contribution to AOCS engineering roadmap & strategy (innovative technologies and tools, state of the art, interaction with other applications at Sener)

What we expect from you:

• Engineering Degree (aeronautical or space engineering)

• Experienced in this position for 7 - 10 years.

• Good mathematical capability.

• Interest for SW engineering and related know-how, including IA

• Proactive and good problem solving capability

• Team player

• Capable of presenting the output of the work carried out in a clear way

• High level of English
