MAIN PURPOSE

The main purpose of a Sales Supervisor is to oversee and coordinate the activities of the sales team within a specific area or store location. They are responsible for ensuring that sales targets are met, customer service standards are upheld, operational procedures are followed effectively, and inventory levels are managed efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Team Supervision and Leadership:
  • Supervise, train, and motivate a team of sales associates.
  • Set individual KPIs and team sales targets and ensure they are achieved.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to improve team performance.
  1. Customer Service Excellence:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service with Omotenashi spirit.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Train team members on effective sales techniques and customer service standards.
  1. Sales and Operational Management:
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and generate reports for management.
  • Implement strategies to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Communicate all Marketing plans and promotions to Beauty Consultants and Chief Counters.
  • Maintain good relationships with Store Management/Visual Merchandising department to ensure that all Marketing support is available.
  1. Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure stock levels are adequate, and accurate stock counts.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics team to replenish stock as needed.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage and maximize inventory turnover.
  1. Merchandising and Visual Presentation:
  • Ensure the store layout and product displays are visually appealing and meet brand standards.
  • Coordinate with the merchandising team to plan and execute promotional activities.
  • Monitor product pricing and promotions to maximize sales and profitability.
  1. Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment for customers and employees.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements related to the retail industry.
  • Ensure that all store security, health regulations, and company policies are adhered to by all Beauty Consultants and Chief Counters.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in retail sales, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Understanding of the beauty industry, including products, trends, and customer preferences, passionate about the Brand
  • Ability to lead and develop a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Capability to resolve issues and make decisions under pressure.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using retail management software and MS Office applications.
  • Willing to work as a team and work on the weekend when its needed.
  • Willing to be placed in Surabaya (relocation is not provided)
