We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed EFL teacher to join our team for the coming school year (September 2026 - June 2027, renewable by mutual agreement).
Ermua is a safe and welcoming town located between Bilbao and San Sebastián, with excellent transport connections. The Basque Country offers stunning coastline, green mountains, world-class gastronomy and an exceptional quality of life. It is an ideal destination for teachers who enjoy nature, outdoor activities and authentic culture, away from overcrowded tourist areas.
You will be joining a supportive and professional team in a well-established school with motivated students and small class sizes.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have:
A university degree
Trinity CertTESOL, CELTA or TEFL qualification
At least 1 year's experience teaching General English to children, teenagers and adults
Experience preparing students for Cambridge English exams (desirable)
Strong classroom management skills
A proactive, responsible and positive attitude
Please note: Only candidates with a valid work permit for Spain will be considered.
Conditions
Teaching children, teenagers and adults (all levels)
Average teaching load: 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Most classes take place in the afternoon/evening (some mornings possible)
Class size: maximum 12 students
Contract: September to June (renewable by mutual agreement)

Salary & Benefits
Salary: 1,456,50 € gross per month.
