*Position based in Sao Paulo

          We are looking for someone who:

• Has a Bachelor's degree from an accredited law school;
• Has an active bar membership in good standing;
• Has at least 3-5 years of legal experience;
• Has experience in Litigation and Consumer matters
• Demonstrates the ability to manage a range of legal matters;
• Previous experience in consumer protection, regulatory industry, legal ops, data privacy, igaming and administrative law will be considered an advantage;
• Ability to perform daily legal work in English, including drafting routine litigation documents, reviewing communications, participating in meetings, and interacting with international stakeholders.
  
  What you'll be doing:
  
  
• Support and review standard procedural documents (defenses, petitions, appeals), update case records in legal systems, and ensure deadlines and court requirements are met;
• Coordinate routine communications with outside counsel, customer service, and operational teams to collect documents, factual information, and evidence needed for case handling;
• Review and respond to consumer complaints from courts, regulators, and online platforms; support early-stage resolution efforts and track escalation to litigation;
• Keep case management tools updated, organize documentation, and generate periodic reports on volumes, status, and outcomes of consumer disputes;
• Contribute to legal projects aimed at improving litigation / consumer processes and efficiency;
• Prepare structured reports and dashboards on case metrics;
• Analyze litigation and complaint data to identify patterns, root causes, and improvement opportunities;
• Provide accurate, relevant, and timely advice to the employer and other members of staff on a variety of legal topics that relate to the business sector and the business operations in Brazil;
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts and agreements with regard to the Group's entities in Brazil;
• Handling / managing contractual disputes and ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business;
• Staying up-to-date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect the local business and specific industry;
• Overviewing, maintaining, reconstituting and keeping the companies' files up to date and in a state of completion at all times.
