About the job
The Visual Merchandising Expert is responsible for implementing and maintaining Swarovski's visual merchandising guidelines to ensure that store layouts, displays, and product presentations reflect the brand image and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging window and in-store displays that tell a story, attract customers, and highlight the beauty and craftsmanship of Swarovski products.
- Ensure that all visual elements are consistent with the brand's seasonal and global visual merchandising themes.
- Collaborate closely with store management and sales teams to develop and execute store-specific visual merchandising strategies.
- Train and coach store staff on visual merchandising standards and techniques, ensuring consistent execution across all locations.
- Oversee product placement and inventory organization to ensure optimal product visibility and availability.
- Participate in regional and global visual merchandising training and development sessions to stay up to date with new trends and innovations.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess visual merchandising standards and implement necessary updates or changes.
- Collaborate with marketing and retail teams to ensure alignment between promotional campaigns and visual displays.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in administrative visual merchandising work, preferably in luxury retail or fashion.
- Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail, design, and aesthetics.
- Ability to execute visual concepts in alignment with brand guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and visual merchandising tools.
- Knowledge of retail trends and the luxury market in Mexico.
- A degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in English.
