Role overview:

This role is responsible for managing and delivering AWS-based infrastructure that powers millions of Smart TVs.

You will define the architecture, participate in the design, drives and implements Cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

The role requires a deep understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, Networking, and Compute.

Key responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the day to day operations of managing cloud services (system administration, monitoring, incident resolution, disaster recovery)
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and contributors are unblocked and working effectively
• Participate and assist in setting the long term direction, roadmaps, and standards for the infrastructure.
• Acts as the expert for AWS cloud infrastructure within the Team.
• Monitors business critical processes and systems. Direct involvement in incidents or problems that cause service impact
• Manage the relationship with AWS and service providers and suppliers.
• Budget planning and cost analysis for infrastructure
• Establish and track SLAs (internal and external) and KPIs

Requirements

What makes you a great fit:

• 7+ years of experience with planning, architecting, and implementing AWS Cloud environments
• Strong Experience with designing and deploying AWS Services like Elastic Compute (EC2), Storages (S3, EBS, EFS) and RDS
• AWS Networking & Content delivery (VPC, Route 53, ELB, etc.)
• AWS Management Services experience (CloudWatch, ELB, EC2 autoscaling, CloudTrail and AWS Config, Datadog)
• 5+ years of experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform or similar.
• Experience deploying applications using GitOps (ArgoCD or similar)
• 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes.
• 5+ years of experience with containers, Docker or similar
• Strong communicator and fluent in English
