🌎 Location And Legalities

This full-time Video Editor position is based onsite in our brand-new Ultralytics office in Madrid, Spain, with a hybrid model of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the EU, as Ultralytics does not provide visa sponsorship. Paid relocation incentives to Madrid are available.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Editorial Ownership: Lead post-production from ingest to master delivery using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, including light Motion Graphics and titles in After Effects.
• Narrative Cutting: Cut diverse content-interviews, event recaps, case studies, and product walkthroughs-with crisp narrative pacing and purposeful b-roll selection.
• AI Visualization: Collaborate with engineers to seamlessly overlay and visualize YOLO outputs (detections, masks, skeletons) and integrate clean screen recordings.
• Multi-Platform Packaging: Prepare content for social-first distribution, with expert knowledge of codecs and delivery specs for multiple platforms.
• Audio Finishing: Mix dialogue, SFX, and music stems for punchy, intelligible sound, ensuring noise reduction and balanced levels for broadcast-ready results.
• Brand & Consistency: Maintain brand alignment using the Ultralytics system, and build reusable motion templates and graphics systems for speed.
• Innovation: Experiment with AI-assisted ideation and production techniques, keeping pace with how creators communicate Vision AI.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience with mastery in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, plus solid After Effects skills for titling and motion graphics.
• Editorial Expertise: Proven ability to cut long- and short-form content (interviews, demos, case studies) with strong narrative pacing and purposeful b-roll.
• Color & Audio Post: Proficiency in color grading (LUTs, secondary corrections) and audio post-production (dialogue cleanup, EQ, noise reduction, loudness normalization).
• Delivery Mastery: Expertise in codecs, bitrates, and delivery specs for all major social platforms.
• AI Comfort: Comfortable visualizing AI outputs in editorial (detections, masks, poses) and integrating clean predicted screen recordings.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Ability to build reusable Motion Graphics templates for title systems.
• Familiarity with lightweight scripting or automation.
• Understanding of content that resonates with technical audiences
