The opportunity 

We are looking for a proactive, curious, and eager CRM Manager to join our Headquarter team in Berlin. In this mid-level role, you will play a key part in executing our newsletter formats and lifecycle strategy, to maintain long-lasting relationships with our members through personalized, context-driven messaging.

You will manage the activation of member data to develop and execute communications plans across our core marketing channels-specifically email, push notifications, and in-app messages. You will support the team in connecting strategic initiatives to key business metrics, such as member base growth, retention, and churn reduction, while playing an active role in bringing our lifecycle strategy to life.

What you will do

  • You will responsible for the ideation, planning, and execution of regular newsletter formats and manual campaigns (emails, pushes, and in-apps)
  • You are proactively contribute to the lifecycle management strategy by setting up new touchpoints and tests within user flows to member experience and increase retention
  • You leverage consumer behavioral, lifestyle, transactional, and demographic data to deliver relevant marketing insights and personalized content
  • You monitor campaigns, build reports, and analyze KPIs to continuously optimize performance and verify the impact of communications through hypothesis testing
  • You support the team in leveraging AI to automate existing processes and scout for new opportunities to keep our CRM multi-channel communications "state of the art"
  • You plan and implement A/B tests on a regular basis using dynamic templates and analyze results to refine our approach
  • You actively participate in the execution of global marketing campaigns, such as Black Friday, and support the planning of various communications coming from internal stakeholders
  • You build relationships and partner with stakeholders from Tech, Product, B2B, and Customer Care to identify new opportunities and ensure deliverability

What you will need to succeed

  • You have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Digital Marketing and CRM, with a solid understanding of both mobile and web environments
    You have hands-on experience working with marketing automation platforms such as Airship, Braze, Iterable, or similar tools
    You are commercially savvy and data-driven, with a love for challenging your daily work by looking into data to generate new ideas
  • You possess an innovation mindset and AI curiosity, embracing the newest in CRM and proactively scouting for new opportunities to leverage AI and automate existing processes
  • You are an organized and proactive person, able to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and carry out a high pace of work while maintaining quality
  • You enjoy taking the customer's perspective to ensure a great experience and have experience working with dynamic templates
  • You are highly proficient in spoken and written English, and you are able to communicate in German in a fluent way
  • Previous experience with tools migration is a plus
