• Integration Strategy: Design robust data egress patterns. You will assess whether to use Real-time Events (Platform Events/CDC) or Scheduled Batches based on volume and consistency requirements.

• Data Warehouse Alignment: Collaborate with Data Engineering to define schemas for Snowflake RevRec tables, ensuring Salesforce data is modeled correctly for downstream analytics.

• Concurrency Management: Write complex "State Machine" Apex to handle record locking and race conditions, ensuring data integrity during high-concurrency updates.

• Performance Engineering: Architect solutions that respect Salesforce Governor Limits while pushing massive data volumes, preventing "Row Lock" errors and CPU timeouts.

• Technical Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert for Apex Enterprise Patterns and help select the right middleware or transport layer for future scale.

Must have

• Advanced Salesforce Engineering experience (Apex).

• Mastery of Asynchronous Apex (Batch, Queueable, Future).

• Understanding of database locking strategies and solving race conditions on the Salesforce platform.

• Architecture Experience: Ability to design Event-Driven Architectures (Kafka, Pub/Sub) AND High-Volume Batch architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating Salesforce with Data Warehouses (understanding of immutability and schema mapping).

• Background in Revenue Recognition logic or Financial Systems.

• Experience setting up Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines.
