Job Description

The Asset Information Manager directs the strategic management, optimization, and lifecycle performance of assets for a major rail station construction project, ensuring integration with the program management systems, compliance with their project and client requirements, and alignment
with operational, and stakeholder objectives.

Asset Strategy Management: Manage comprehensive asset strategy
aligned with project goals, integrating lifecycle planning, maintenance, and
operational efficiency.
Asset Inventory Management: Establish and maintain an accurate
inventory of physical and digital assets, including infrastructure, systems,
and equipment, asset data tools
Lifecycle Planning: Develop plans for asset acquisition, utilization,
maintenance, and decommissioning to maximize value and minimize costs
over the asset lifecycle.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with project stakeholders, including
designers, contractors, operators, and integrators, to align asset
management with project and operational needs.
Data Management and Analysis: Manage asset data collection and analysis
to monitor performance, and support decision-making.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to asset performance,
reliability, and obsolescence, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Define KPIs for asset
performance, track metrics, and provide regular reports to project
leadership and stakeholders.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure assets comply with regulatory
requirements, safety standards, and environmental guidelines specific to rail
infrastructure.
Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors and service providers for asset
procurement, maintenance contracts, and service agreements, ensuring
timely delivery and quality.
Change Management: Facilitate smooth transitions during asset upgrades
or installations, communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure
operational continuity.
Technology Integration: Leverage digital tools, to enhance asset tracking,
performance monitoring.
Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements in asset
management processes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and project
outcomes.

Work Conditions: Full time in Don Mills Office Toronto

Required Skills and Competencies

• Expertise in asset management principles and lifecycle planning.
• Proficiency in asset management software (e.g., Maximo, SAP, or similar).
• Strong understanding of rail infrastructure and operational requirements.
• Analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards for rail projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and optimize costs.
• Familiarity with digital tools like BIM, IoT, and predictive maintenance
systems.
• Problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
• Commitment to sustainability and innovation in asset management.

This role offers an annual base salary in the anticipated range of $116,500-$168,500 CAD, with compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
