Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven co-op student for a 12-16
month term to support the administration and continuous improvement of our
Jira system, with a specific focus on the development and management of our
RACI documentation. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional
teams to ensure clear accountability, optimized workflows, and accurate
responsibility mapping across projects and initiatives. You will configure Jira
boards, manage custom fields and workflows, and maintain up-to-date RACI
matrices to support project governance and decision-making. This role is ideal
for a student with strong organizational skills, a passion for systems and
process design, and an interest in agile project management tools.

Jira Administration

  • Administer and maintain Jira projects, boards, workflows, custom fields, and issue types to support internal process management.

  • Collaborate with project managers and team leads to ensure Jira configurations align with team needs and organizational standards.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Jira to track issue progress, ownership, and accountability.

  • Work with IT or DevOps teams (if applicable) to escalate technical issues or implement advanced configurations.

RACI Documentation Management

  • Design, build, and maintain RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted,

  • Informed) documentation for key projects and initiatives.

  • Assist in mapping roles and responsibilities across teams using Jira data and stakeholder input.

  • Ensure RACI documents are consistently structured, accurate, and updated as roles or project scopes evolve.

  • Support audits and reviews of RACI documentation and Jira configurations to ensure data integrity and process compliance.

  • Process Improvement & Enablement

  • Provide training or documentation to support teams in using Jira effectively for responsibility tracking.

  • Identify opportunities to improve Jira usage and RACI alignment through automation, templates, or process refinement.

Work Conditions:

Full time in Don Mills/Queen Street Office Toronto

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Familiarity with Jira Software, including boards, workflows, issue types, and custom fields.

  • Understanding of RACI models and responsibility assignment frameworks.

  • Basic knowledge of Agile or project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

  • Experience using reporting tools or dashboards within Jira (e.g., Jira Filters, JQL).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other productivity tools.

  • Exposure to Confluence, Microsoft SharePoint, or similar documentation platforms is an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze systems and identify process gaps or improvements.

This role offers an annual base salary in the anticipated of CAD $55k
