Following a change of ownership in 2024 Adevinta is now owned by a consortium of private equity houses led by Blackstone and Permira and represents one of their largest investments in Europe in recent times. Our businesses are demonstrating strong profitable growth following a change of operating model placing focus on business autonomy supported by a small but highly skilled team of central finance professionals driving performance improvements across the markets and central functions.

As FinOps Reporting Analyst you will be a key part of this team and responsible for creating, managing, and enhancing financial reports and dashboards that support operational efficiency, compliance, and strategic decision-making within the processes of RTR, PTP and OTC and advancing the use of AI across the finance function. You are likely to be involved in multiple projects so there is great opportunity to broaden your experience significantly. 

The ideal candidate enables data-driven decisions by analyzing performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and improving reporting and process automation and efficiency, with a delivering results, transformational and continues improvement mindset.

Qualifications: 
3 to 5 years of experience on:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience working with finance software & ERP systems: Experience with financial systems like SAP S4, Blackline, OneStream, Microsoft Dynamics, Netsuite etc.
  • Relevant experience in finance operations, reporting, or shared services environments.
  • Experience working with RTR, PTP, and OTC process cycles in a corporate or global business services setting
  • Hands-on experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SQL or data modeling concepts is a plus.
  • Demonstratable proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT
  • Understanding internal control frameworks and SOX compliance is advantageous.
  • Experience working within outsourced or shared services FinOps functions and ideally in a finance transformation project.
  • Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships and become a trusted partner. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of management and customers. 
  • Fluent in English (other European languages are a plus i.e. Spanish, French).
  • Ability to drive changes and influence within a matrixed and decentralized operating model.
  • Problem-solving capabilities to address issues related to financial reporting and process inefficiencies.

Other Requirements:
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and proficiency in working with multiple Finance and Accounting customer groups across a global organization.
  • Must be comfortable presenting to large/senior executive audiences; able to quickly build rapport and establish credibility with stakeholders.
  • Must have excellent time management skills to perform in a fast-paced environment, work well under tight deadlines.
  • Must be collaborative, team player, with a global mindset, flexible and able to quickly adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to translate objectives into project plans and tasks, to drive projects to completion.
