Summary

The Senior Manager, Global Strategic Growth Segments is responsible for defining and driving the global commercial growth strategy for Travel Intelligence (TI) and Media across strategic growth segments and regions. The role owns the global segmentation strategy, sets commercial priorities, leads global sales planning, and ensures consistent execution across regions, products, and go‑to‑market teams.

This position manages a global Sales team and acts as the central reference point for strategic growth segments, aligning strategy, performance, and execution at global scale.

Key Responsibilities

Global Strategic Growth & Segment Strategy (TI & Media)

  • Define and own the global strategic growth framework for TI and Media, identifying and prioritizing Strategic Growth Segments based on market potential and strategic relevance;
  • Develop segment‑specific global strategies, including value propositions, priority use cases, target customers, and growth levers;
  • Translate segment strategies into clear commercial direction for Sales teams across regions;
  • Act as the global reference for Strategic Growth Segments, ensuring alignment across Sales, GTM, Product Strategy, and Customer Performance;
  • Monitor segment performance, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to continuously refine strategy.

Global Sales Planning & Performance Management

  • Own global sales planning and pipeline strategy for TI and Media across Strategic Growth Segments;
  • Define and track success metrics by segment, product, and region, identifying risks and growth opportunities;
  • Drive a data‑led performance culture through consistent reporting and actionable insights for leadership.

Sales Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Influence

  • Lead and develop a global Sales team with accountability for performance and engagement;
  • Support complex global deals and executive‑level customer engagements;
  • Influence and secure cross‑functional support to accelerate execution across Strategic Growth Segments.

About the ideal candidate:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or equivalent experience;
  • 15+ years' experience in complex business environments with sales and P&L responsibility;
  • Strong background in travel industry, ad‑tech, publishing, and B2B distribution;
  • Deep understanding of DMO environments and executive‑level stakeholder management;
  • Proven ability to operate in challenging, global, and matrixed environments;
  • Availability to travel;
  • Fluent in English.
