About Arkadia Space🪐

Arkadia, established in 2020, is a pioneering force in the space industry. We have a clear vision: to make space exploration sustainable, accessible, and innovative. We are an in-space propulsion company, developing and commercializing the most performing chemical systems using green propellants, the real alternative to traditional storable propulsion.

Our headquarters are located in Castellon de la Plana on the Costa Azahar. We operate a 100% privately managed orbital engine Test Center at Castellón Airport, the first of its kind in Europe. This facility provides agility, flexibility and speed for tailored, rapid propulsion developments and for testing of engine prototypes and products.

At Arkadia, we trust in every member of our team as we specialize in developing cutting-edge propulsion systems. Our company culture is built on collaboration, innovation, and personal growth. We offer a friendly and stimulating work environment where you can thrive. We value work-life balance, which is reflected in flexible schedules and ongoing professional development opportunities. If you are seeking an opportunity to contribute to the future of space exploration,

About the Position🛰️

As a Test Center Responsible at Arkadia, you will be in charge of the daily maintenance and readiness of the different propulsion test facilities located in Arkadia's Test Center in Castellón Airport.

Your primary mission will be to ensure that all test benches, ground support equipment (GSE) and associated facilities are properly maintained, safe and fully operational at all times. You will play a key role in guaranteeing that development, qualification and production test campaigns can be executed without disruption.

In addition to technical maintenance activities, you will manage the operational logistics of the Test Center, including supplies, consumables, waste management and coordination of external services and third parties. This role combines hands-on technical work with operational organization in a fast-paced and growing testing environment.

What you'll be doing
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of propulsion test benches and associated GSE

  • Maintain facility systems such as fluid lines, power and comms. connections and other test center auxiliary systems

  • Ensure test benches are prepared and available for scheduled campaigns

  • Manage consumables, gases, fluids and general supplies required for testing activities

  • Coordinate waste management processes, including hazardous and chemical waste

  • Interface with external service providers and suppliers

  • Support installation and commissioning of new test benches or facility upgrades

  • Generate and maintain documentation and ERP information (Odoo) related to maintenance activities and facility configuration

  • Manage the Test Center storage and inventory

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations and internal procedures

What we're looking for
  • Higher Vocational Education Diploma (EQF Level 5) or equivalent technical degree in Mechanical, Maintenance, Electromechanical, Electrical or similar fields

  • 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, test facilities, production plants or similar technical environments

  • Solid understanding of:

    • Pressurized fluid systems

    • Mechanical and electromechanical systems

    • Basic electrical systems

  • Hands-on experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance

  • Experience managing industrial supplies and coordinating service providers

  • Ability to work methodically in safety-critical environments

  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of facility readiness

  • Organized, proactive and solution-oriented mindset

  • Advanced English (spoken and written)

  • Fluent in Spanish

Nice to have
  • Experience in aerospace, propulsion or high-pressure systems

  • Knowledge of instrumentation and basic data acquisition systems

  • Experience with hazardous materials handling and environmental compliance

  • Experience supporting test campaigns or experimental facilities
