The Business Associate will support the Large Commercial Business Unit in a dynamic, analytical, and high-impact role enabling strategic growth across the organization. This position is designed for a professional who will undertake highly visible tasks and initiatives in partnership with senior leadership. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving key business decisions through the preparation of business cases, analyzing financial and non-financial data sets, and supporting unit-wide communications and change initiatives. What you'll be doing What will your essential responsibilities include? Executive Support: Act as a strategic partner to the Business Manager, Large Commercial and the Head of Large Commercial and the broader Leadership Team, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis and Americas wide business priorities. Business Case Development: Support the preparation of comprehensive business cases with inputs from various stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes. Data Analysis: Analyze a variety of financial and non-financial data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and present findings to drive business decisions. Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance metrics, develop financial models, and support budget planning and management processes. Project Management: Lead, support, and manage key projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective communication across departments. Change Management: Support and facilitate change initiatives across the underwriting unit, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption of new processes and strategies. Communication: Support the development and distribution of communications for the underwriting unit, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with company objectives. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams and stakeholders to gather necessary information, provide updates, and align efforts towards common goals. Reporting: Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership, summarizing key insights and recommendations. You will report to the Business Manager, Large Commercial. What you'll bring We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Experience in business management or analytical role within the insurance or financial services industry. Experience in strategic management and consulting required Desired Skills and Abilities: Robust analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and business case development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable to engage across all business functions and at all levels in the business Excellent project management and organizational abilities. Ability to work self-directly and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to easily flex with changing workloads and prioritization Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with data visualization tools is a plus. The U.S. base salary range for this position is USD 102,000 - 170,000. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skills, experience and location.
