Global Internal Networks (GIN) is a specialized unit within Global Markets (GM) Sales & Structuring. Our core mission is to act as the primary bridge between Global Markets and BBVA's commercial banking networks (specifically the BEI-Corporate & Investment Banking network and the BC - Retail & Commercial Banking network). The team is responsible for distribution and sales strategy execution of Global Markets products and other relates solutions to Family Offices in Spain, maximizing market share, ensuring technical pricing precision, and unlocking institutional-grade investment solutions for regional clients.

POSITION SUMMARY & STRATEGIC JUSTIFICATION:


The Sales Networks Multiproduct Sales Associate Lead will join a high-performing desk to drive, promote, and expand the access to institutional commercialization of GM products (including Equity Derivatives, Structured Products, and Multi-asset solutions) across BEC and Retail units.


A primary strategic focus of this role is to directly support the Managing Director (MD) responsible for BBVA's new Family Offices coverage initiative. The successful candidate will work closely with senior sales professionals, product specialists and internal stakeholders across Global Markets, Investment Banking & Financing (IB&F), Corporate Banking and Wealth Management, and will help coordinate commercial initiatives, support client engagement activities, manage sales reporting and pipeline tracking, and contribute to the preparation of client proposals and strategic business plans.


And reinforce long-term trusted relationships, significantly amplifying BBVA's revenues and footprint within the high-net-worth and Family Office ecosystems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS:


Sales Support & Client Coverage:

  • Collaborate closely with the Family Office Sales Manager to define and execute the global commercial strategy to increase BBVA's profitability and market share.

  • Support the Family Office sales team in the management and development of client relationships.

  • Coordinate client meetings, follow-up actions and commercial initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities and commercial activity.

  • Monitor and track ongoing opportunities across the sales pipeline.

  • Ensure timely follow-up on agreed actions with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Work on the development of commercial and marketing initiatives to increase product awareness and product knowledge across the network's commercial units.

Proposal Coordination:

  • Coordinate the preparation of client presentations, proposals and marketing materials.

  • Liaise with product teams across Global Markets, Financing Solutions and Investment Banking to gather relevant content and market insights.

  • Support the customization of solutions and presentations based on client needs and investment objectives.

  • Ensure consistency and quality of materials delivered to clients.

Business Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain sales dashboards, activity reports and management presentations.

  • Analyze pipeline development, commercial activity and business performance metrics.

  • Identify trends, opportunities and areas requiring management attention.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Act as a central point of coordination between Sales, Product Specialists, Structuring, other CIB teams and Private Banking teams.

  • Track internal workstreams and ensure efficient execution of commercial initiatives.

  • Facilitate communication and information sharing across different business units.

CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS:

Experience Background:

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 to 6 years of solid experience within Global Markets Sales, Structuring, or Private Banking Institutional Desks, operating with senior management, and ideally interacting with Family Offices, Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWIs) or corporate clients.

  • Understanding of the Family Office ecosystem or corporate treasury needs, and retail distribution networks, an advantage.

  • Academic background in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.

Technical Skills (Hard Skills):

  • Familiarity with financial products and investment solutions.

  • Knowledge of CRM systems and sales reporting tools.

  • Fluent / Bilingual in Spanish and English (an advantage).

  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
