The Senior Credit Controller serves as a bridge between the Team Lead and the team, applying both operational and managerial skills. Due to the organization's growth and changes, the role's tasks may evolve. A desire to develop and take on new challenges is essential.
- Maintain/improve collection rates for current and aged accounts
- Contact customers to settle overdue accounts promptly
- Support and guide the team, serving as a role model
- Manage the ledger, resolving unpaid debts per Team Lead's priorities
- Minimize bad debts by assessing and acting on risks
- Conduct weekly team stand up for updates
- Act as the intermediary between Team Lead and the team
- Motivate the team to achieve targets
- Proactive in identifying and resolving issues
- Foster a proactive, enthusiastic team environment
- Stakeholder management
- Share best practices with peers
- Improve customer payment behaviors and processes
- Lead and coach a diverse, multicultural team
- Analyze data to identify trends
- Adhere to business policies, procedures, and code of conduct
- Handle ad hoc issues and projects
- Backup for the Team Lead as needed
- Bachelor's in Business Administration or equivalent / Master's in International Business is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
- Proficient in SAP
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiating skills
- Proactive and eager to learn
- Problem-solving and assertive approach to collection
- Calm and focused under pressure
- High emotional intelligence
- Analytical with the ability to see the bigger picture
