VFX Producer

The Role

The VFX Producer is the strategic lead for the project. You own the budget and the client relationship. You are the bridge between the client's desires and the studio's capabilities, ensuring we deliver award-winning work on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Bidding & Scoping: Breakdown scripts and treatments to generate accurate budgets and shot counts.
  

• Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and negotiating change orders (overages).
  

• Financial Oversight: Track project burn rates, approve freelance hires, and manage the P&L for the show.
  

• Strategy: Work with Supervisors to determine the most efficient methodology to achieve the creative brief.
  

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years in VFX production, with credit on major [Film/TV/Commercial] projects.
  

• Financial Acumen: Expert proficiency in Excel and bidding templates.
  

• Tools: Proficiency with tracking software ShotGrid/Shotgun/Flow.
  

• Diplomacy: High-level negotiation skills and the ability to say "no" or "yes, but..." effectively.

• Existing relationships with vendors or freelance talent pools.
