Company Description

About us

We like to sum up what we're about in 8 words:

Women. Transgender. Nonbinary. Education. Technology. Community. Diversity. Change.

As an international tech school for women, trans and nonbinary (women+), we exist to provide the safe space, training, and resources needed to support, and equip our students with the skills they need to thrive in the tech industry.

We also support businesses, NGOs, and governments like Bumble, the EuFMD at FAO, and Servei Públic d'Ocupació de Catalunya to bridge technical talent development with their diversity, equity, and inclusion goals.

People seem to be digging our mission: We've got support from Spain's largest impact VC, 23 pretty amazing business angels, a growing global community of students and graduates, and the Bardigang (bucket list goal).

Job Description

About the role

As the Public Programmes Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth execution of our public programmes throughout Spain. This is a hybrid role-bridging together people, administration and operational management. You'll manage and cultivate relationships with our existing government partners. You'll work closely with our leadership team to iterate and align on impact strategy, while collaborating with various teams across CodeOp to successfully implement our various public programmes throughout Spain.

Job priorities

  • Implementing, managing and justifying training future and existing public programmes with government partners, including due diligence, monitoring of contractual agreements, and reporting.
  • Presenting the various scope and parameters of each new programme awarded to the team.
  • Ensuring the successful execution of our public programmes by liaising with students, educational and operational staff. This entails seeking ongoing feedback, troubleshooting any issues as soon as they arise, leading onboarding and offboarding sessions for students, etc.
  • Maintaining the standards of the ISO: 9001 quality system
  • Organizing communication channels and systems to align our various stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Tracking progress toward key business growth milestones and reporting on partnership-building insights to the team
  • Collaborating with our marketing team to develop various outreach strategies to build CodeOp brand awareness and promote synergies locally and nationally
  • Overseeing that our public programmes educational team meets all programmatic requirements
  • Reapplying to previous calls that we have been awarded and regularly scanning calls for other training opportunities that align with CodeOp's growth plans
