Staff Product Manager - Portfolio and Partnerships

Fastly is seeking a strategic Staff Product Manager to drive our complete portfolio for embedded and OEM partners. Acting as a commercial and technical leader, you will redefine how we expand our state-of-the-art Edge Cloud platform through strategic alliances.

What You'll Do:

  • Define the Strategy: Guide the investments, direction, and roadmap required to build deeply integrated, lasting embedded partnerships.
  • Solve for Adoption: Identify partner and end-user friction points and devise seamless, API-first integration solutions to overcome them.
  • Drive Commercial Success: Develop complex financial models, pricing strategies, and margin analyses to maximize both top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability.
  • Align Technology: Lead architectural and technology roadmap conversations with engineering to align Fastly's capabilities with partner ecosystems.
  • Lead Cross-Functionally: Build trusted relationships and drive alignment across Engineering, Business Development, Finance, and executive leadership.

What We're Looking For:

  • You are a thought leader with an entrepreneurial ethos, a bias for action, and a talent for distilling complex technical and commercial problems into actionable steps while staying focused on the larger product vision.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of product management experience, ideally in B2B enterprise infrastructure or cloud platforms.
  • Strong domain expertise in internet technologies (DNS, HTTP, TLS, APIs), WAAP technologies and Edge networking
  • Demonstrated ability to craft a compelling platform roadmap, making smart strategic and tactical trade-offs to deliver business value.
  • Exceptional communication and financial modeling skills, with the executive presence to influence and negotiate.
  • We'll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:
  • Proven track record managing OEM, white-label, or heavily API-integrated products.
  • Deep understanding of CDN architecture, media, and streaming services.
