ICS Milan is a thriving, dynamic international school offering a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum across multiple educational programmes, including IGCSE, MYP, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP). We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced ESS and Science Teacher with a strong background in the IB DP curriculum. Key Responsibilities:

Teach high school ESS and Science courses as part of the IB Diploma Programme (IB DP), ensuring the delivery of engaging, challenging, and well-structured lessons;

• Teach classes in IGCSE and /or MYP;

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the IB DP curriculum and promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning;

• Assess students' progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to encourage academic growth;

• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that caters to the diverse learning needs of students, using differentiated teaching strategies;

• Encourage a growth mindset and develop students' passion for ESS and Science, helping them build essential skills for their future academic and professional endeavours;

• Collaborate with colleagues in the department and across the school to share best practices and resources.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Science or a closely related field. A Master's degree or further qualification is preferred;

• Teaching certification, with preference given to those with an IB DP ESS and Science teaching qualification or experience;

• Proven experience teaching IB DP (both Higher Level and Standard Level) or equivalent experience in international education;

• Familiarity with the IGCSE and MYP curricula is an advantage;

• Strong understanding of the principles and practices of inquiry-based learning and assessment in the IB system.
