Coruña British International School is a highly distinguished British international school the first in the city to gain NABSS (National Association for British Schools in Spain) accreditation. REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Galician Language, Social Sciences, Humanities, Education, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• CELGA 4 certification (or higher), demonstrating advanced proficiency in the Galician language.
• Proven experience teaching Galician Language and/or Social Sciences at secondary level.
• Strong understanding of curriculum expectations for Galician and Social Sciences.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, culturally rich, and linguistically accurate lessons, adapted to different proficiency levels.
• Experience designing assessments, tracking progress, and providing effective feedback to students and families.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with colleagues, families, and the wider school community.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
