O Castro British School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled ICT Teacher to join our team:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and deliver engaging and accessible ICT lessons in line with the British curriculum, ensuring strong coverage of digital literacy, computer systems, coding, online safety, and problem‑solving skills.
• Regularly assess, monitor, and report on student progress, digital competencies, and understanding.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the creation of high‑quality digital learning resources and projects.
• Support enrichment activities such as coding clubs, robotics, digital creativity workshops, or technology-focused competitions.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence in technology.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• C1/C2 level of English.
• Degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience teaching ICT or Computer Science in a secondary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the British curriculum and current educational technology trends.
