About the ERP Evolution Program

The supply chain is not just core to GSK operations; it's vital to bringing our innovations to patients as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible. Technology is transforming how we manufacture medicines and vaccines, enabling us to increase the speed, quality and scale of product supply. Aligned to industry peers, GSK has embarked on a large-scale global transformation - ERP Evolution Program. To achieve the outcome of the ERP Evolution programme, an S4/HANA ERP solution will be deployed globally via complex waves across GSK's Pharma and Vaccines businesses to commercial markets, manufacturing sites, R&D, all shared financial services, and additionally GSK's customers, suppliers and logistics partners. The Wave 0 scope comprises a representative subset of GSK's business across the Pharma and Vaccines sectors, including global supply and financial functions. The successful delivery of Wave 0 is essential, as it will establish the foundation for all subsequent waves. Wave 0 will demonstrate the programme's methodology, validate the cutover orchestration, and enable downstream waves to scale effectively while meeting all regulatory, and business‑continuity requirements.

Job Purpose

GSC PMO Cutover Lead will be accountable for leading the end‑to‑end business cutover activities for Global Supply Chain deployments, ensuring a controlled and seamless transition to the S/4HANA ERP platform. It will coordinate internal GSK stakeholders, GSK 3rd-party providers to deliver cutover execution in line with agreed timelines, while safeguarding business continuity and operational readiness. The Cutover Lead will provide structured PMO delivery support to Wave 0 Implementation Lead including status reporting, RAID ownership support, risk and dependency management. It will drive the prioritization, resolution, and escalation of Hypercare incidents to ensure timely and effective issue management as well as monitor and address any issues that arise during the cutover process to ensure a smooth transition post go-live.


Key Responsibilities

Cutover & Business Continuity Planning

- Define and document the Business-owned tasks under Dress Rehearsal and Cutover plan for GSC scope for Wave 0.

- Collaborate with Wave Cutover Lead and GSK ECC Technical teams to define cutover sequences, freeze points, dependencies and handover points to complete ramp down

- Plan business controls and KPIs as part of the overall business ramp-up

- Prepare Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for GSC functions and ensure contingency approaches are documented

- Coordinate and support GSK relationship owners with third-party engagement planning and execution as per project timeline.

Cutover Execution, Readiness & Coordination

- Coordinate execution of business elements of the Cutover Plan tasks and validate completion with task owners.

- Orchestrate Dress Rehearsal for business owned elements in scope: plan rehearsal objectives, runbooks, participant lists and ensure lessons learned are captured and actioned accordingly by the right teams.

- Ensure business teams - Wave 0 sites and wider network, central functions are ready to launch Interim processes on Day 1.

- Drive Issues/Defect resolution during Hypercare - GSK process [user] related to supply chain

- Enhance consolidated Wave plan with business deployment activities and support teams scoping UAT and Day-in-Life (DiL) test scenarios

Stakeholder Communication & Operational Leadership

- Support Wave 0 Implementation Lead with tracking and reporting business readiness and business-owned tasks

- Enhance cutover readiness dashboards with business deployment inputs for stakeholders.

- Drive post-rehearsal and post-cutover business action reviews: capture lessons learned, update and enhance runbooks and future wave playbooks

Risk Management

- Coordinate risk management owned by GSC, identify, escalate and drive remediation actions.

- Support Wave 0 Implementation Lead with JIRA RAID log updates and tracking - ensure risks, issues, actions and decisions are captured with owners and due dates and track towards completion and closure.


Why You?

Basic Qualification

We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

- Proven experience in PMO, Cutover or Deployment lead roles for large ERP (SAP ECC/S/4HANA or equivalent) transformations.

- Strong experience coordinating with 3rd-party suppliers during deployment/cutover.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - able to engage senior leaders and work across boundaries.

- Strong planning, orchestration and execution skills; experience developing cutover runbooks, dress rehearsal plans and drive cross-functional remediation.

- Formal project management qualifications (Prince2, PMP) and experience with Agile/Hybrid delivery approaches are a plus.

- Attention to detail balanced with the ability to see the end-to-end impact.

Preferred Qualification


If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Background in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments and familiarity with GxP expectations.
- Experience with large-scale ERP platforms (such as SAP or similar) and data migration activities.
- Proven experience running cutover rehearsals and producing runbooks and checklists.
- Strong working knowledge of deployment tools, integration testing, and environment management.
- Experience in post-go-live stabilisation and continuous improvement following system implementations.

Work Arrangements:

The role can be based in the United Kingdom at GSK HQ or Poland and follows a hybrid working model requiring on-site work 2 to 3 days per week. Remote or fully home-working arrangements are not available for this role.

The annual base salary in Poland for new hires in this position ranges from PLN 183,750 to PLN 306,250 gross, taking into account a number of factors including the candidate's skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer's discretion). All statutory benefits will be maintained in accordance with Polish law. Other benefits may also be offered, which may include private healthcare, additional paid days off, life insurance, private pension plan and fully paid parental leave & care of family member leave.
