Horse Powertrain Limited is an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero.

Horse Powertrain has 19,000 dedicated and determined employees, working in 17 manufacturing plants, and 5 R&D centers on three continents.

This role is employed by Horse Powertrain Solutions and is based in Madrid, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain's other sites.

What you will be doing

• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) and internal policies.

• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the organization's data protection governance framework, including policies, procedures, and controls.

• Conduct and advise on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).

• Monitor data processing activities and maintain records of processing activities (RoPA).

• Identify and escalate data breach to the Global Compliance Team, for risk mitigation and response actions coordination.

• Deliver training and awareness programs on data protection and privacy.

• Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to data protection.

• Key focal point for Cybersecurity matters, providing regulatory guidance and participating as a member of the CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team).
  

What we're looking for

• A proven track record of implementing data protection frameworks, with solid GDPR knowledge and 3+ years of relevant experience into a multinational company.

• Professional Certification in Data Protection (e.g. IAPP)

• Outstanding analytical and communication skills, with strong stakeholder management capabilities.

• Strong data protection and risk management skills, combined with a collaborative, hands-on mindset and high professional integrity.

• Excellent written and spoken English; good working knowledge of French, Spanish or Chinese would be an advantage.
