Horse Powertrain has 19,000 dedicated and determined employees, working in 17 manufacturing plants, and 5 R&D centers on three continents. This role is employed by Horse Powertrain Ltd and is based at head office in Madrid, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain's other sites.

What you will be doing

• Lead the design, build, test and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling solutions, ensuring alignment with SAP Best Practices and business requirements

• Act as the main interface between Business Process Owners, System Integrator and internal teams, translating business needs into functional and technical solutions

• Drive Fit‑to‑Standard workshops, system configuration, WRICEF validation, data migration, interfaces and end‑to‑end testing activities

• Support cutover, go‑live and post‑go‑live stabilization, ensuring a smooth transition to application maintenance and Centre of Excellence operations

• Serve as the S/4HANA Finance & Controlling Subject Matter Expert, continuously identifying improvements and supporting business users across the organisation

What we're looking for

• A proven track record of leading global SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling implementations and delivering end‑to‑end project phases from design to go‑live

• A proven track record of acting as Finance & Controlling subject matter expert in complex, multi‑country and multi‑stakeholder environments

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business and IT teams

• Outstanding analytical and problem‑solving skills, enabling clear recommendations and solution design

• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, coupled with a hands‑on and delivery‑oriented mindset

• Knowledge of the automotive industry and Finance & Controlling processes, with the ability to support Horse Powertrain's transformation ambitions

• Excellent written and spoken English; good working knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage
