Lionbridge is currently seeking freelance English Transcribers based in the United States to collaborate on a project with one of the world's leading education companies.
Position Requirements:
·Native-level proficiency in English
·Residency in the United States
·Previous transcription experience
·Typing speed of at least 55 words per minute
·A bachelor's degree in a language-related field (such as Linguistics, TESOL, Language Studies, or English) is advantageous but NOT a must, same with teaching experience is a plus
Project Details:
·Work Scope: A minimum of 10 to a maximum of 20 hours per week, with a purchase order created after each week of work.
·Duration: The project is scheduled to commence in late February or early March and will conclude in mid-May.
·Training: Participants must successfully complete specific training, which includes a speed test and two rounds of training, totaling approximately 8-10 hours. Compensation is provided for training hours.
oTraining Structure:
§Round 1: 3-5 hours. Upon passing,
§Round 2: up to 4 hours.
·Rate: $20 per hour
