As Area Head of Maersk Project Logistics - Saudi Arabia Area, you will be accountable for operational performance and profitable growth within the Area/Cluster. Leads operations and business development teams
to deliver service excellence, execute global standards, drive commercial opportunities, and own the P&L for their defined scope. Ensures
alignment between product, sales, and operations to secure customer outcomes and sustainable growth. This role reports to Regional Head of MPL - IMEA.

Key responsibilities:

Leadership & team management

• Leads Area/Cluster operations and business development teams (incl. managers, specialists, execution staff).

• Builds capabilities, drives performance management, and ensures a strong team culture.

Operational execution

• Ensures end-to-end execution quality, service delivery, compliance, and QHSE adherence.

• Monitors operational KPIs, identifies root causes of issues, and drives timely recovery actions.

• Oversees resource planning, workload distribution, and utilisation of tools, platforms, and processes.

• Leads implementation of new solutions, product updates, systems, and operational standards.

Commercial & business development

• Drives Area/Cluster growth through opportunity qualification, pipeline support, and customer solutioning.

• Partners with Area LT and Sales to retain and grow business through improved delivery, onboarding, and customer experience.

• Leads operational and commercial input into RFPs, pricing, and customer engagement.

Governance & performance management

• Owns Area/Cluster P&L for their operational scope.

• Conducts regular performance reviews and forecasting with regional leadership.

• Ensures adherence to global standards, policies, and processes and compliance with QHSE policies.

• Drives continuous improvement, cycle-time reduction, and operational optimisation.

Stakeholder alignment

• Acts as primary operational & commercial-enablement representative for the Area/Cluster.

• Ensures alignment across Product, Sales, CX, Finance, Procurement, and Regional Ops.

• Represents the function in escalations, customer meetings, and strategic reviews.

Skills required:

• Strong logistics experience

• Extensive management experience with past performance across multiple geographies

• Experience with and sustained interest in systems and process management, process improvement

• Good collaborator and communicator ·

• In-depth understanding of Project Logistics delivery

• Strong analytical ability with a global, digital mindset

• Strong collaborative drive and stakeholder management skills

• Extensive supply chain experience.
