Job Responsibilities:
Essential Functions of the Position:
Gives directions and align associates on the shift to ensure they stay fully utilized. Be certain that the Press schedule is being met and notify appropriate persons if there is a problem.
Organizes and coordinates the activities of employees to ensure that productions and/or repairs conform to quality standards outlined by the company and/or customer requirements
Responsible for completion of all applicable paper work and computer inputs - Shift summary sheet, Down time system, Lot Traceability sheet, Crane check sheet, Destacker set-up sheet, Die set sheet, LPA, Layered Process sheet, QID sheet, etc.
Manpower alignment to schedule and organize break rotation incl. filling in for Associates that are out
Assist Supervisors with tracking of attendance, vacation, overtime and performance appraisal issues
Train associates and ensure work instructions are being followed by all Associates on the line.
Recommend to supervisors when corrective action is needed
Perform other duties as required
Education and/or Experience (Required):
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
1 year prior metal working and press experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good mathematical, analytical and organizational skills
Six months to one year experience as press operator
SAP knowledge
