The IT Trainee position is designed for individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience in the field of Information Technology. The primary objective of this role is to provide support and learn under the supervision of senior IT staff, assisting in various technical tasks and projects.

🎯 HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

· Assist in providing technical support to all MEDSIR employees, resolving basic IT issues such as software installation and hardware troubleshooting.

· Learn and support the ticketing system for logging and tracking support requests, ensuring timely updates and resolution.

· Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior staff, documenting recurring issues for future reference.

· Participate in the setup and configuration of new devices (Mac, Windows, IOS, Android), including network connectivity and software installation.

· Support the IT team in maintaining the inventory of hardware and software assets, conducting regular audits and updates.

· Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account setup, device preparation, and training new employees on IT policies.

· Work on small-scale IT projects, contributing to the improvement of IT services by researching and proposing new solutions.

· Follow company protocols to protect information from unauthorized access or use, adhering to security best practices.

· Provide basic training to end-users on the use of software applications and IT tools.

· Assist in updating and maintaining IT documentation, including user guides and technical manuals.

· Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and systems.

💪WHAT DO WE VALUE FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY?

· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or technical diploma (FP) in Information Technology or a related field.

· Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.

· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.

· Documentation skills and ability to communicate information clearly and effectively.

· Team player with the ability to collaborate in a dynamic environment.

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other widely used software applications.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Fluency in English and Spanish, spoken and written.

· Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.

· Previous experience with Mac computers is a plus.

· Familiarity with Azure is an advantage.
