We invite you to be part of our "best in class" team at our Philadelphia Plant in Hospital de Órbigo (León) through a 12-month full-time internship. With over 50 years of history and being a benchmark in the dairy sector and an economic driver in León, this is an exceptional opportunity to learn, grow, and leave your mark in a multinational, dynamic, and constantly evolving environment.

Your Challenge and Contribution:As a Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern, you will be part of our team, driving operational excellence and manufacturing efficiency. From day one, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Actively participate in focused continuous improvement teams, applying and learning methodologies such as Lean - Six Sigma and IL6S (Integrated Lean Six Sigma).

  • Observe, analyze, and challenge existing practices and processes used in the plant.

  • Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), identify causes of potential deviations, and propose corrective actions.

  • Train and support plant personnel so they understand and can implement the actions and methodologies to be applied.

  • Participate in the selection of process improvement ideas and support their implementation.

  • Contribute to the rigorous compliance with Quality and Food Safety, People Safety, and Environmental Protection standards.

  • See how your ideas and efforts translate into concrete optimizations and improvements in our production processes.

Who are we looking for?You are the ideal candidate if you have:

  • Academic Background:University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Food, or similar).

  • Previous Experience (Not essential):We value if you can contribute with some previous experience in production plants, especially with a focus on continuous improvement. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification will be a plus.

  • Tools and Languages:Proficiency in MS-Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and a high level of English (written and spoken) is essential.

  • Proactive Attitude:Quick learning ability, initiative, excellent teamwork skills, and an open mind to face new experiences.

  • Key Skills:Effective communication at all levels, motivation, listening skills, creativity, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
