In the UX Designer role, at the intersection of play and usability, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, engaging experiences for the Outfit7 games audience. You will champion the user, translating complex game mechanics into seamless digital journeys. In this role you will

• Implement the end-to-end game UX, prioritizing features and topics that align with both player delight and business strategy.
• Craft comprehensive user flows and game "overflows" independently, mapping out complex game loops and navigation systems.
• Translate raw data and playtest observations into actionable design iterations, advocating for user insights at every stage of development.
• Design and deliver high-fidelity prototypes, using advanced Figma features, animations, and micro-interactions to convey "game feel" and timing.
• Integrate AI tools into your workflow where they add value: from rapid ideation and asset generation to streamlining repetitive design tasks.
• Analyze competitor games and market trends.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure UX approaches align with brand hierarchy, distribution strategy, and technical feasibility.
• Promote and develop best practices in product design.

What we're looking for

• A design mindset and understanding of how players interact with games.
• Figma Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of components, auto-layout, and a strong grip on using variables for scalable systems.
• Motion & Prototyping Skills: A keen eye for micro-interactions, timing, and spacing that makes a game feel "juicy" and responsive.
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to design for retention, engagement, and business goals.
• Communication: The ability to explain the "why" behind a design choice to stakeholders and developers.
• Adaptability: A proactive approach to learning new tools, including AI-assisted workflows and emerging mobile market trends.
• Fluency in English (written & spoken).

Your experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX/Product design, preferably in gaming or media, with a portfolio or repository showcasing a clear "problem-to-solution" journey.
• Experience from the gaming space and knowledge of basic cognitive development milestones are a plus.
